At the time it seemed like a good idea to plant all 12 celery seedlings at the once. I’d picked them up from the farmer’s market and was full of enthusiasm. Now we have a wee forest of celery to cope with. Luckily it’s delicious to eat straight from the garden and we’re using lots of it in cooking.
Later plantings have been in more sensible numbers and spaced out to give us a continuous supply for the next couple of months at least.
